Gift giving Guide Lines...?

Hi. Today, one of my friends who happens to be a girl gave me a small gift, which was one of those books titled like, "Mr. Strong, " by Roger Hargreaves. I have gotten to know her pretty well and I was grateful of the small gesture, but the thing is though that we didn't even talk about exchanging gifts. The other thing is that she gave like 4 of her other friends in my class the same type of book. Now later, I texted her and asked her if the gift had any meaning pertaining to me, being why did she choose the book entitled "Mr. Tickle," to which she replied, "There weren't that many at borders." Now, I have a couple questions: One, does this gift mean anything, because I am assuming it doesn't, or is my friend just trying to keep me from knowing its' true meaning? And two, am I now obligated to give my friend a gift now? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.|||Haha Pull the same thing with her, obviously she's trying to be funny or leaving it a mystery on purpose. Do the same thing to her and leave her wondering, it'll be hilarious and cute.
